The repression and greed of the press makes that the citizens silly
Today, there are many countries all over the world, and there are a lot of press. Many people contact with these press by using phone or the internet, reading newspapers, and watching TV. They notice new and fast news and accept it instatly because the symbol of press is accuracy. They believe these news without suspicion. But, a lot of press do not show accuracy. They want to make more money. Also, they are just taken in government's pressure. Many governments use a lot of press to cover their mistakes or wrong works. Also, they use it to increase citizen's dependability about government. If you can not accept my opinion, I am going to show you some examples of the repression of the press.
First, We can find it in Egypt's government. Mubarak was the president of Egypt who kept the power almost thirty years. He always uses the press for earning citizen's dependability and becoming a president again. But, Many of citizens didn't know that they decide the wrong president. Because A lot of Egyptian press help Mubarak keep the position of the president. They manipulated a photo that shows Mubarak's power is little between these countries. They changed it show Mubarak is the powerful president between these countries. But, there was the president of the USA who called the world's president, Obama. However, A lot of egyptian thought that Mubarak is one of the best president all over the world.
Second, Time magazine sanitizes their covers for American consumption. Time Magazine is one of the powerful press. But, they did a mysterious work. For example, They published a monthly magazine all over the world. Its covers showed that we need to make a revolution and it's right that the USA's stratagics about Afghanistan without the USA. They made strange covers for the USA. The USA's cover was for the citizen's mass psychology. We can not see the USA and the other countries time magazines have something on common. They show different messages about the world community.
Third, CNN is the world leader about making a fake war coverage. Here is one example of this situation. Anderson Cooper faked Syria war footage by dubbing in sound effects and playing chaotic video beside a Syrian correspondent. In this video you can see how in one tape the correspondent is a safe environment, then you see the footage aired by CNN with dubbed in theatrical effects.
Fourth, In japanese control 1920's era, they started cultura rulling for keeping a peaceful society. But, its main purpose was to make Korean silly. They said they gave the freedom to the press. It was freedom that be carefully controlled by japanese. They filtered some news that construct the spirit of the independence. And, they construct the intimacy of japanese government. It was effective to control Korean.
In conclusion, the repression and the greed of the press affects to the soceiy heavily. Many people don't notice it's wrong and choose what the fact is. Finally, People become silly. So, we need to make the press becoming free about the government's pressure and monitor the greed of the press. It will be more effective to construct the ideal country that we dream. It is real democracy. Because we can say what we want to criticize.
Those who say that the press dose not make people silly claim that the repression of press is necessary for our society and it is not true that the press wants profits. In other views, This opinion is a little true. Because, Some shocking news can lead us to the dilemma that we feel that we are in a bad situation. And, Some press also provide a fair news for their role in the society. But, It is limited in some press, and a few coutries. Going through finding the history of the press, We can notice that there were a lot of repression and the greed of the press all over the world. Actually, Many politicians use the press for increasing their power and hide their mistakes. Also, The press get money from someone who wants to hide their news for safety or some who wants to put their news for their fame in various fields such as the entertainment world, the political world, and etc. This cycle does not break because they are related to each other and their connection for earning their profits is systematic. The case of FIFA shows this cycle is not broken easily. A sports reporter wrote about the corruption of FIFA and it was almost well grounded information that the sports reporter found. But, When the news spread to the Europe fastly, the sports reporter encountered the disqualification of the sports reporter. And there is one case that show the greed of the press. Naver news cast is a system that helping people to read news what they want and giving the editorial right to the press. But, this system is now abused by the press. They just made intersting news for attracting concerns because if their news are the most attractive one, they can get more money by gathering advertisements of the corporations. By these situations, How can we say that the press is fair and not corrupted. In the present, the press is not reliable. We should doubt the truth of the news when we hear the news. So, It proves that the repression and greed of the press makes that the citizens silly.
Of course there may be some errors in my opinion of the press. And, No one can say the autualities of the press. But, The corrrupted situations of the press happens in our modern society until now. And, Many situations that we don't know is veiled because of some reasons. Soemtimes, The exist of the repression of the press is useful and effective for our society. And, It is truth that everyone wants profits so the press wants profits. But, Democracy and freedom are the most important things. In every time, We highlight these for making good society and world. These are rights that expressing our criticisms of the governments, and knowing the truth of the veiled news. And, It is an obligation that the press work for conveying the truth of the news and fair news. Finally, I emphasize that the repression and greed of the press makes that the citizens silly and these need to be fixed.
